But our engineering services go further than mere tunnelling technology. We aspire to provide our customers with optimal support from the word go until final breakthrough and beyond. This also includes early development and planning of special service solutions in the area of tunnelling. This can be the case, for example, when a machine tunnelling several sections needs to be pushed or turned intermediately using special sub-constructions. But topics of relevance for tunnelling such as remote maintenance, early wear prognoses or specifying practical maintenance intervals are also part and parcel of good planning. This ensures that machines are always in good shape right from the start and can be deployed for subsequent projects with identical project performance.

Training – Transferring knowledge to your site personnel

By offering training directly on the machine, Herrenknecht perfectly prepares your personnel for later tasks on site. We hereby rely on a practical combination of theoretical basics and application-based skills. This enables your personnel to familiarize themselves with the machine and its features in detail while ensuring that they can react appropriately to any situation during site assembly and tunnelling. This permits greater machine availability and increases safety for site personnel.

Through our Herrenknecht Academy, we offer various training packages in the areas of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems and operation. Depending on the course participants, various qualification levels are available in all thematic areas – from basic to expert.
