Contractors around the world using Herrenknecht tunnelling technology are setting new records in tunnel construction every year. Faster, bigger, deeper, harder, safer – virtually all new superlatives involve machines from Schwanau. To ensure our project partners can continue to boldly tackle real underground challenges in the future, but also become more efficient in their daily business, we at Herrenknecht are constantly working on the major and minor innovations in mechanized tunnelling.
Our experienced engineers master the entire range of innovation – from incremental detail aspects to completely new-designed machine types for areas of application with a promising future. In Germany or together with our customers on the jobsites of this world, we develop the mechanized tunnelling technology of tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. And not just to increase performance, but also in terms of key social issues such as safety, environmental protection and resource conservation. So in future new tunnel infrastructures can be planned and built safely and sustainably exactly where they are needed.
